FAQ

A) Ordering & Customization

1. Can I order a custom size?

Yes. We can customize dimensions to fit your bathroom layout, preferred soaking depth, and user height. Share your available space and we’ll propose the ideal size.

2. What wood types do you offer?

We work with premium wood species selected for durability and performance in wet environments, including iroko, sipo mahogany, and cedar.

B) Shipping, Delivery & Customs

3. Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We ship internationally and have experience delivering to the USA and Europe. Shipping method and lead time depend on destination and tub size.

4. Who handles customs and import duties?

Import duties, taxes, and customs regulations vary by country and are typically the buyer’s responsibility.

We provide all required shipping documents and support you throughout the process.
If you prefer a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid – all costs included) quote, please let us know—we will do our best to arrange it.

5. How long does production take?

Because each piece is handcrafted, production time depends on the model and customization level. We will confirm an estimated build and delivery timeline before you place the order. Average lead times are around 3-4 weeks.

C) Installation & Care

6. Does the tub require special installation?

Installation is generally straightforward, but requirements depend on your drain location and bathroom design. We can provide guidance to your contractor/plumber.

7. How do I clean and maintain the tub?

Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Good ventilation and normal bathroom humidity help preserve the wood over time.

For sanitizing, you may use hydrogen peroxide (up to 10%).

8. Will the wooden bathtub leak?

No—when properly used, our bathtubs are designed to be fully water-tight.
Each tub is filled with water and leak-tested before shipping. We use a hybrid construction method that combines traditional joinery with modern techniques, ensuring long-term water resistance without compromise.

Because wood is a natural material, it can show small surface cracks or changes in appearance with seasonal humidity. This is normal and usually cosmetic—it does not affect structural integrity or water-tightness.

9. Why do wooden tubs sometimes show tiny cracks?

Wood expands and contracts with humidity changes. Minor surface checking can occur, especially in dry indoor climates or during seasonal transitions. This is part of the natural character of solid wood.

10. What should I do before the first use?

For best performance, we recommend a simple first-use routine:

  • Rinse the tub and fill it with water.
  • Let it sit for a short time so the wood can adapt to the moisture.
  • Drain and refill before your first soak if needed.

15. What if a leak ever occurs?

In the rare event of a minor leak, solid wood is repairable. Most issues—if they occur—can be resolved with simple sealing steps. If you contact us with a short video, we will guide you quickly to the right solution.

D) Payments & Next Steps

11. How can I pay?

We offer secure payment options (for example Payoneer/Wise/bank transfer depending on region). We will share the available methods during the quote stage.

12. How do I get a quote?

Send us:

  • Desired model (or a reference photo)
  • Preferred dimensions
  • Delivery country/city (including your postal code)
We’ll respond with a detailed quote and timeline, usually in 24 hours.
